Photo Walk of Fredericton New Brunswick

I have lived in or near Fredericton for most of my life and I have for the most of that time taken photographs of the Elm City. Today most of the Elm trees have succumbed to Dutch Elm disease. During those years I have taken photograph of the city. Recently I have been read a number of articles on story telling through photos and seeing a community through photo walks. This experience has lead me to begin reviewing my large volume of images I have accumulated. The photo walk I’ve added below is the start of a project to see my community through the camera lens. This walk begins at the parking lot behind City Hall and continues down Queen Street. It turns around at the Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge. As the walk returns to the starting point, it follows the walking path along the river. Enjoy the walk.
